WOOD ART

The moment a piece of wood decides what it is to become, is our favorite moment. On the woodturning lathe, the creation spawns from the spinning motion of the machine. Some pieces yearn to become a bowl marveling in the intricate structure of the fibers. Some prefer to be a big sphere, and defy the materials' character, which is as far from this rudimentary shape as can be. Whatever it chooses to become in its new life, it will encompass curiosity, search and great appreciation – the main guidelines for the studio's craft.

These objects are a result of two approaches: some are made from a single, pure piece of wood, some from several woods put together. Some are worked using classical traditional methods whilst others search within these methods a new set of rules, where guidelines are more round and colorful. These objects represent points in time, planets of thought rising on creation's landscape.
